FRN—FCC Registration Number

An FRN, or FCC registration number, is a 10-digit number that is assigned to a business or individual registering with the FCC. This unique FRN is used to identify the registrant's business dealings with the FCC. The FCC will use the FRN to determine if all of a registrant's fees have been paid.

EIN—Employer Identification Number

EIN stands for Employer Identification Number. An EIN is a nine-digit number that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires of all businesses and other employers to identify their tax accounts with the IRS. The EIN is one of two (2) identification numbers assigned by the IRS which are known collectively as Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TIN). The other identifier is the Social Security Number (SSN).
