License Management

  • Does your company rely on two-way radios for important communications?
  • Are your FCC radio licenses up to date?
  • Is there anything that needs attention?

The Enterprise Wireless Alliance can help you to identify what licenses you have, make sure they’re current and are in compliance with the FCC rules. EWA can also protect and manage your valuable licenses, freeing you from bureaucratic and regulatory burden so you can to concentrate on your business at hand. EWA offers three levels of license management services, each designed according to your needs.

Basic License Review

For a quick check of the number of FCC radio licenses that exist under your company name, their associated call signs, FCC registration information and license expiration dates, EWA offers a basic license review.

   Cost: $150 for members; $300 for non-members.

Detailed License Analysis

Businesses often do not utilize their radio systems optimally, e.g., because they’re not aware of which frequencies they have and their capabilities. If you haven’t kept up with the latest FCC releases and mandates, your licenses may not be in compliance with the relevant rules & regulations, which could result in enforcement action by the FCC and possibly monetary fines.  EWA’s Detailed License Analysis includes the Basic License Review, and an additional level of service to check each FCC licensed call sign for correct mailing address, compliance with construction and narrowband requirements, and transmitter locations. We further identify frequencies, power, number of mobile devices and private or commercial classification status. EWA can assist with consolidation of multiple licenses to fewer call signs, eliminating the need for unnecessary FCC renewal fees.

Cost: $50 per call sign for members; $100 for non-members.

Total License Management Service

For the most protection of your valuable spectrum, EWA will create and manage a secure personal database of your radio licenses.  All licensing activity filed with EWA is monitored regularly, and you are advised well in advance of all license renewals, Part 90 construction notifications in all frequency bands, and other FCC licensing requirements. Your license management file is confidential and all necessary communications will be directed to your attention, unless otherwise requested. This service includes the Detailed License Analysis.
