What is Narrowbanding all about?

If your organization owns or operates a two-way radio system, you need to be aware of the facts concerning Narrowbanding. Briefly, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued a mandate that states all Land Mobile Part 90 two way radios in the VHF (150-174 MHz) and UHF (421-512 MHz) frequency bands must operate on 12.5 kHz or narrower channels by January 1, 2013.
