Bitcoin Machine Interferes with T-Mobile LTE Network in NYC

In 2017, T-Mobile informed the Commission that it was receiving interference to its 700 MHz LTE network in Brooklyn, New York. Agents of the Enforcement Bureau confirmed that radio emissions in the 700 MHz band were emanating from a Brooklyn residence. The interfering device was an Antminer s5 Bitcoin Miner. Victor Rosario received a Notification of Harmful Interference to which he must respond in 20 days of date of issue. The Notification includes questions concerning where he acquired the device, its FCC certification (if any), what he did to prevent it from causing interference, and whether he still operates the device.
