Industry Coalition Responds to AASHTO Petition on 4.9 GHz

An industry coalition comprised of the Enterprise Wireless Alliance, the American Petroleum Institute, Forestry Conservation Communications Association, International Municipal Signal Association, National Sheriffs’ Association, and the Utilities Technology Council filed in response to a Petition for Reconsideration of the 7th Report and Order filed by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). The response notes that the coalition agrees with certain of AASHTO’s positions but does believe reconsideration of the Order is necessary, if the FCC adopts recommendations the Coalition made in reply comments.
