EWA Welcomes Bette Rinehart

May 14, 2018

The Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA), a private wireless spectrum solutions and advocacy leader for the business enterprise industry, is pleased to announce that Bette Rinehart will be joining EWA as Director, Spectrum Solutions. Ms. Rinehart brings more than 34 years of experience in private wireless to the role.

Most recently, Ms. Rinehart has been delivering consulting, spectrum research and licensing services to public safety and enterprise customers through her company Rinehart Spectrum Solutions Group. Prior to that, she spent 31 years with Motorola Solutions, completing her service there as Senior Specialist of Spectrum Strategies.

“I’ve known EWA for many years,” said Ms. Rinehart. “I am pleased to join an organization that has such a great reputation within the industry and that can offer me challenging opportunities. This role will feed my passion for finding the right frequency for a client.”

On Ms. Rinehart joining EWA, President Mark Crosby stated:

“Bette Rinehart is one of those rare professionals who has a unique expertise in spectrum research and consulting that will serve to expand EWA’s abilities to serve its members and customers. As the spectrum environment becomes increasingly more complex, EWA is fortunate to have Ms. Rinehart join our staff of professionals. She understands the vagaries of Federal Communications Commission rules and, may apply that knowledge to support EWA’s objective of never having to say to its customers that ‘we can’t assist’ you.”

  • A Beep has been a happy customer of Spectrum Intel since its launch. It’s easy to use, the information is much more accessible, and the service includes extra features that other license activity reporting services don’t have. Spectrum Intel saves my team time each week.

  • The advocacy and regulatory issues are very important to our business, and, without EWA, we would have no voice. Nobody is speaking up for players like us in Washington except EWA.

  • It’s remarkable what we’ve been able to do with EWA’s support. It’s a collaborative effort that has allowed Midland to deliver unparalleled support to our customers. No one else has the depth of understanding of FCC rules, which has resulted in more application grants. Midland Communications has a profound appreciation for EWA’s advocacy efforts. It has allowed us to have a voice before the FCC.

  • It’s not just about finding frequencies. It’s about finding the RIGHT frequencies for that customer, and EWA excels every time at that. We would not be moving forward without EWA.

  • We use EWA for all of our FCC license applications. The staff at EWA provide outstanding customer service and do all they can to see that applications are granted. EWA does a super job of staying on top of situations that affect our ability to file license applications and serve customers. EWA’s Regulatory Call keeps us informed about what is happening with the FCC and their online systems.
