EWA Welcomes Kyle Entz

January 7, 2020

The Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Kyle Entz as Executive Director, Strategic Initiatives. In this role, Mr. Entz will contribute to member advocacy initiatives, assist members who require spectrum access guidance, and manage 900 MHz incumbent transition requirements pursuant to EWA’s services agreement with Anterix, Inc.

Mr. Entz brings more than 20 years of experience in FCC licensing and spectrum policy matters. With more than 15 years at Sprint, Mr. Entz managed more than 50,000 FCC licenses and a team that supported multiple, complex corporate initiatives such as the relocation of thousands of 800 MHz incumbents including the nationwide relocation of Sprint’s 800 MHz spectrum assets. While at Sprint, Mr. Entz contributed to upgrading network technologies to CDMA and LTE and Sprint’s nationwide deployment of 4G and 5G network upgrades. Mr. Entz has also extensive experience with secondary market spectrum leasing, spectrum acquisition, tower siting and point-to-point microwave solutions.

“The broadband opportunity at 900 MHz will be of great benefit to private wireless users,” said Kyle Entz. “I’m pleased to be able to support EWA members not only during this transition but in other regulatory initiatives.”

“Kyle has a depth of experience in regulatory affairs, policies, and wireless technologies that will enable EWA to continue to be the leader of providing the private wireless industry with critical spectrum planning and acquisition solutions," said EWA President Mark Crosby.

  • It’s remarkable what we’ve been able to do with EWA’s support. It’s a collaborative effort that has allowed Midland to deliver unparalleled support to our customers. No one else has the depth of understanding of FCC rules, which has resulted in more application grants. Midland Communications has a profound appreciation for EWA’s advocacy efforts. It has allowed us to have a voice before the FCC.
