The Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Boadi, a student at Old Dominion University (ODU), will receive the EWA-Joseph B. Vestal Endowed Scholarship, which awards financial aid to a full-time student at ODU enrolled in Electrical Engineering Technology or Information Systems Management who intends to pursue a professional career in wireless applications or telecommunications.
Mr. Boadi is a dedicated student who works to support his education. His career goal is to improve the reliability of communications networks in college and university settings. His pragmatic approach to his education and his focus on wireless networks drew interest from the scholarship selection committee.
“In July, we lost Joe Vestal, and his input over the years was crucial during our candidate selection process. We believe that Mr. Vestal would have found Mr. Boadi’s passion and professional objectives compelling,” noted EWA President Mark Crosby.
Scholarship funds are raised through individual and corporate donations. Learn more about the scholarship at EWA’s website.
