The Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA), the national association and leading advocate for business enterprises and private carriers that utilize or support private wireless communications systems, announced today the programming for the 2021 Wireless Leadership Summit that will be held at the Marriott Austin Downtown, in Austin, Texas, November 2-3.
The Wireless Leadership Summit provides business leaders with actionable management and technology ideas, the opportunity to discuss industry trends, and how they may be harnessed for ongoing success.
Keynote: “Wireless Security: The Possible, the Impossible, and What Lies Between,” Todd Humphreys, UT Austin
Dr. Todd Humphreys directs the University of Texas at Austin's Radionavigation Laboratory and is an associate professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics. He is considered one of the world’s experts on GPS technology and the security concerns that arise from its use. Dr. Humphreys and researchers from the Radionavigation Laboratory are best known for taking control of a flying drone by hacking into its GPS system to demonstrate how U.S. drones were being controlled by Iraq during the Gulf War, winning a challenge issued by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
