EWA Files in Response to Augusta Richmond County Waiver Request

On July 30, EWA filed comments on the Augusta Richmond County Consolidated Government request for a waiver to add a tenth 800 MHz Specialized Mobile Radio (SMR) pool channel to the nine Public Safety (PS) channels already licensed at its 6 simulcast sites. EWA did not challenge the need for a tenth channel but identified one PS and multiple Business/Industrial Land Transportation (B/ILT) channels that could be assigned at all six sites at the power/antenna heights in the application.
