The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued a Public Notice extending the deadline for incumbent licensees in the 4.9 GHz (4940-4990 MHz) band to submit required granular licensing data. The new deadline is July 9, 2025.
This extension is intended to give licensees limited additional time to collect and submit accurate technical parameters about their current operations. The FCC believes this will improve the quality of information received and better protect incumbent licensees from interference.
EWA members with questions regarding this requirement or who need assistance with the submission process, please contact Kyle Entz no later than July 3, 2025, to ensure timely compliance.
Kyle Entz can be reached directly at 703-797-5116 or Kyle.Entz@EnterpriseWireless.org.
