EWA Wireless Solutions Center Supports Project Planning for Businesses

June 27, 2017

The Enterprise Wireless Alliance announced today the launch of the updated Wireless Solutions Center, an online, business guide for users to discover the right land mobile wireless technologies, solutions, consultants and vendors for licensed or unlicensed wireless requirements.

“In the development stage of a wireless project, planners may have more questions than answers about system types, the spectrum best-suited for a specific wireless project, and what equipment will deliver the desired features,” said EWA Executive Director of Marketing and Membership Sarah Beerbower. “To help entities research and make choices about enterprise wireless communications, EWA created the Wireless Solutions Center.”

Initially introduced in 2010, EWA relaunched the site to include enhancements that make it easier for those seeking answers to find advice and locate solution providers. At the site, users can search for information on equipment and applications for a specific wireless project and filter the results by industry. The information contained at the site is provided by equipment manufacturers as well as sales and service providers that are ready to deliver support.

As a benefit of membership, all EWA Vendor-Manufacturer members receive a basic entry in the Wireless Solutions Center directory with an option to upgrade to gain more exposure for their business. To learn more about participating, contact Sarah Beerbower at 703-797-5108 or sarah.beerbower@enterprisewireless.org.

  • Using Spectrum Intel has been a game-changer for us. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, and the Market Area Reports have automated many tasks that we previously had to do manually, reducing delays of getting time sensitive data out to our sales team. The search functionality is impressively fast, and it’s clear that EWA is committed to continuous improvement, making the tool even more useful and intuitive. Highly recommend!

  • It’s remarkable what we’ve been able to do with EWA’s support. It’s a collaborative effort that has allowed Midland to deliver unparalleled support to our customers. No one else has the depth of understanding of FCC rules, which has resulted in more application grants. Midland Communications has a profound appreciation for EWA’s advocacy efforts. It has allowed us to have a voice before the FCC.

  • A Beep has been a happy customer of Spectrum Intel since its launch. It’s easy to use, the information is much more accessible, and the service includes extra features that other license activity reporting services don’t have. Spectrum Intel saves my team time each week.

  • We use EWA for all of our FCC license applications. The staff at EWA provide outstanding customer service and do all they can to see that applications are granted. EWA does a super job of staying on top of situations that affect our ability to file license applications and serve customers. EWA’s Regulatory Call keeps us informed about what is happening with the FCC and their online systems.
